The majority of Marksmen’s wells require no hydraulic fracturing and have a relatively long life expectancy, up to 10 years.
Marksmen has also been working with a world class scientific research company to convert a well to carbon sequestration.
For future projects at Pickaway County, the 3D seismic and improved drilling practices employed by Marksmen appear to be repeatable.
Marksmen is a careful steward of its operations with highly trained operators, properly constructed well-sites, containment berms around all tanks, and fail-safe monitoring equipment etc. All in accordance with Ohio oil and gas regulations.
Oil is transported by trucks operated by or on behalf of one of two oil refiners based in Pennsylvania. Once the oil is picked up, care, custody, control and responsibility is taken on by the trucking company and refinery.
